Mrs. Lynda Jones-Layng: Director

Lynda has been involved with Glenfir since almost its inception.  She has two nieces who attended Glenfir, one of whom was a 2005 grad.  Lynda and her husband Kirby have a daughter who is currently in Grade 3.  After growing up in the Okanagan Valley, she spent many years in Vancouver, returning to Penticton in 2004.  Lynda has served on the executive committee of The Glenfir School Parents' Guild and she is now in her third year as Secretary on the Board of Directors. Lynda has been employed by the Canada Revenue Agency for over 25 years, the last 12 years being in the Audit Division.  Kirby is the owner/manager of City Centre Fitness in Penticton.  They are both ardent supporters of The Glenfir School and are continuously impressed with the level of education that their daughter receives at Glenfir.
