Mrs. Melanie McMillan: Director

Melanie and her husband Courtney moved from Vancouver to Peachland in 2006 with their daughter Madison who is currently in Grade 6.  Finding a quality academic and safe independent school for their daughter was the priority before moving to the Okanagan.  After attending four years at Mulgrave, an independent school in West Vancouver, it was critical that they found a school that was comparable.  After three years, not only does Glenfir exceed their expectations, Madison has excelled academically and has grown creatively, athletically and socially.

Melanie has been actively involved for the past two years at Glenfir as a Board Member and Chair of the Marketing Committee.   She has a breadth of experience in executive sales and marketing management having worked for and consulted to some of the largest organizations in North America and has been involved in the high tech and public market for over 30 years.  She has sat on various public and non profit boards and is committed to the growth and excellence of Glenfir and to the Glenfir motto of integrity, respect and achievement.
