Mr. Wayne Nystrom: Treasurer

Mr. Nystrom and his family moved to Penticton in 2005 after living in Vancouver for more than 30 years. Mr. Nystrom and his wife Margareta have nine children, three of whom attend Glenfir. He brings a diverse portfolio of experience to the Board of Directors having graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Degree in Chemical Engineering (BASc) and from his business interests in pulp to paper mills in Canada and the U.S., coffee business in Europe, and medical clinic in West Vancouver. Mr. Nystrom has been on numerous public and private company boards and is presently a member of five company boards.

Mr. Nystrom is excited for the opportunity for three of his children to be a part of Glenfir's Soccer Academy where they will be able to pursue their passion for soccer (a shared passion) while receiving an exemplary education. He looks forward to helping Glenfir become an even better school and seeing three of his children graduate from a school that prides itself on achievement, integrity and respect.
