Mr. Dave Tebbutt - Treasurer

Dave Tebbutt grew up in Vancouver, B.C., and completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering at UBC, where he met his future wife Susan. He then went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. From that time Dave has been the primary caregiver of their three children Macgregor, Maddison and Montgomery. This is Dave's fourth year as a parent at Glenfir and in that time he has served as Treasurer of the Parents' Society and served on the building committee, during which time the sports field and the music room was completed.

Growing up in Vancouver Dave experienced an intimidating and very often violent school atmosphere and felt strongly that his children not have similar experiences. Susan and Dave believe that one of the most important aspects of Glenfir is the schools ability to ensure that the environment at Glenfir is one that is positive, nurturing and free from intimidation so that the children are free to achieve their full potential.
