The Classroom Experience
The Glenfir programme is from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. The largest class currently numbers 15 persons although average class size is typically much smaller. As a matter of policy, no class will exceed 18 students in core subject areas. The number of classroom hours of instruction at Glenfir generally exceeds those in the public school system although the actual number of school days is fewer. Even in the classroom context, it is important to stress that the focus remains on the individual student and his or her particular strengths and interests. Individualized and personalized attention is a key element of the Glenfir experience for students at all levels.
