Introduction
Life at The Glenfir School is the product of academic and social enrichment. A wide range of activities take students out of classrooms into the local environment for Outdoor Education opportunities that promote an increased understanding, and appreciation of the natural world.
Students are surrounded by numerous Co-Curricular activities that complement the academic programme offered by the school. House Teams give students the opportunity to engage in fun, team-building activities that promote cooperation and sportsmanship. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Programme motivates students to engage in community service, expeditions and exploration, skills development, and physical fitness.
Secondary students are involved in Leadership activities that prepare students for taking leadership roles in the future, as well as give them experience in contributing to cooperative group projects.
Beginning in the tenth grade, the Director of Student Services offers Career and Portfolio Counseling to each student to prepare them for successfully achieving specific post secondary goals.
Aspects of School Life related to Uniform, Code of Conduct, and Bus Transportation are available in the Resources section of the website.
